Product Application of Sodium Phosphate, Dibasic CAS#7558-79-4
Sodium phosphate dibasic is widely used as a laboratory reagent and buffering agent in chemical analysis. It is also applied in the manufacture of ceramics, detergents, and enamels, and serves as a mordant in textile dyeing. In industrial processing, it is used for fireproofing paper and wood, weighting and printing silk, and treating boiler water.
In the food and nutrition sectors, sodium phosphate dibasic functions as a sequestrant and dietary supplement, while in agriculture it is used in fertilizer formulations. It is also employed in soldering enamels and used therapeutically as a mild laxative.
