Sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate is widely used as a sequestrant, emulsifier, mordant in dyeing, and as a reagent and buffer in food and analytical chemistry. It has also been applied as a fireproofing agent and for weighting silk in tanning processes. Additionally, it is utilized in the production of enamels, ceramics, detergents, boiler compounds, and serves as a substitute for borax in soldering and brazing.
