Product Description of Barium Chloride Dihydrate CAS#10326-27-9
Barium chloride dihydrate is an industrial-grade chemical with a purity of ≥99%. It appears as a white, odorless crystalline powder. The compound has a melting point of 113℃, at which it loses its water of crystallization, and an anhydrous boiling point of 1560℃. It exhibits negligible vapor pressure at 25℃ and has a relative density of 2.80 at 20℃.
This product is highly soluble in water, slightly soluble in hydrochloric acid, and insoluble in ethanol and acetone. It remains stable under normal conditions but should be kept away from sulfates and carbonates due to incompatibility.
