Product Details

Product Description of Sodium Dehydroacetate (CAS# 4418-26-2)

Sodium dehydroacetate is a white or pale yellow substance that is odorless and tasteless. It is readily soluble in water yet sparingly soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, with a melting point of 190°C.

This compound exhibits excellent resistance to light and heat. Even when its aqueous solution is heated at 120°C for 2 hours, it remains chemically stable. The aqueous solution of sodium dehydroacetate is neutral or slightly alkaline in nature.

Produced via a spray-drying process, the product takes the form of a powder with high purity (up to 98% or above) and low water content (≤ 2.6%). It features stable and reliable quality, ensuring consistent performance for various applications.
