Phenytoin sodium CAS#630-93-3
Dual Anti-Epileptic and Anti-Arrhythmic Action: Phenytoin sodium offers both anticonvulsant and anti-arrhythmic effects, providing broad therapeutic value.
Effective Control of Seizure Propagation: It helps prevent the spread of abnormal electrical activity from brain lesions to surrounding normal tissue, ensuring strong seizure control.
No Sedative Effect at Therapeutic Dose: At recommended dosage levels, it does not produce sedative or hypnotic effects, supporting better patient tolerance.
Wide Clinical Application Range: It is suitable for multiple seizure types, cardiac arrhythmias, trigeminal neuralgia, myotonia, and certain drug-induced conduction disorders.
Products Description of Phenytoin Sodium CAS#630-93-3
Phenytoin sodium is a dual-action drug with anti-epileptic and anti-arrhythmic properties. It prevents the spread of abnormal electrical activity from brain lesions to surrounding healthy tissue, providing effective seizure control. In the cardiovascular system, it inhibits ectopic rhythm sites in the atria and ventricles, accelerates atrioventricular conduction, and reduces myocardial automaticity, delivering an anti-arrhythmic effect. At therapeutic doses, it does not induce sedative or hypnotic effects. Phenytoin sodium is indicated for generalized tonic-clonic seizures, simple and complex partial seizures, secondary generalized seizures, and status epilepticus. It is also used for trigeminal neuralgia, paroxysmal choreoathetosis, paroxysmal movement disorders, myotonia, and cardiac conduction disturbances caused by tricyclic antidepressant overdose.

Product Application of Phenytoin Sodium CAS#630-93-3
Phenytoin sodium is an antiepileptic and antiarrhythmic drug. It is highly effective against generalized tonic-clonic (grand mal) seizures, as well as complex partial (psychomotor) and simple partial (focal) seizures, but it is ineffective for minor seizures and may even trigger them in some cases.
It is also used to treat trigeminal neuralgia and certain arrhythmias. Phenytoin sodium is suitable for status epilepticus, temporal lobe epilepsy, and localized seizure disorders. Additionally, it is commonly applied for anti-epileptic therapy, management of trigeminal neuralgia and sciatica, anti-arrhythmic treatment, and blood pressure regulation.
