Product Details

Product Description of Strontium Titanate CAS#12060-59-2

Strontium titanate (SrTiO₃) is an oxide composed of strontium and titanium. It is widely used as a model material for perovskite ceramics due to its stability in the cubic crystal structure at temperatures above −168 °C.

Product Application of Strontium Titanate CAS#12060-59-2 Strontium titanate is widely applied in tunable microwave capacitors, flat panel and field emission displays, microwave soliton devices, PTC thermistors, and varistors. It is also used in magnetic-field-insensitive thermometers, ultra-low-temperature scanning microscopes, semiconductive ceramics, and pyroelectric far-infrared detectors, as well as in alloy and catalyst systems. Owing to its high melting point and insolubility, strontium titanate has additionally been utilized as a strontium-90-containing material in radioisotope thermoelectric generators.
