Product Application of Scabertopin CAS#185213-52-9

Elephantoplastin has demonstrated notable antitumor activity by inhibiting the proliferation of various tumor cell types. Topical administration of its active component (100 mg/kg) has been shown to delay papilloma formation, reduce the average number of papillomas, and lower the average body weight of papilloma-bearing mice. Intraperitoneal injection of the active component also exhibits significant inhibitory effects on soft tissue tumors induced by subcutaneous injection of 20-methylcholanthrene (20-MCA). Compared with the 20-MCA-induced control group, Elephantoplastin extract reduces both the incidence of sarcomas and tumor size. In addition, intraperitoneal treatment significantly suppresses the growth of subcutaneously transplanted Dalton lymphoma ascites (DLA) cells and Ehrlich ascites carcinoma (EAC) solid tumors, while prolonging the survival time of tumor-bearing mice.
