Levofloxacin hydrochloride is suitable for the treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria, and it is also applicable to certain severe infections depending on clinical requirements.

Indications: This product is used for a wide range of infections caused by sensitive bacterial strains, including:

  • Respiratory tract infections: acute bronchitis, chronic bronchitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, diffuse bronchiolitis, bronchiectasis with infection, pneumonia, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and peritonsillar abscess.

  • Urinary tract infections: pyelonephritis, complicated urinary tract infections, and related conditions.

  • Reproductive system infections: prostatitis, epididymitis, uterine cavity infection, adnexitis, and pelvic inflammatory disease. When anaerobic infection is suspected, it may be used in combination with metronidazole.

  • Skin and soft tissue infections: impetigo, cellulitis, lymphangitis (adenitis), subcutaneous abscess, and perianal abscess.

  • Intestinal infections: bacillary dysentery, infectious enteritis, Salmonella enteritis, typhoid fever, and paratyphoid fever.

  • Other infections: wound and trauma-related infections.
