Isophorone diamine is a triglycidyl ether epoxy group of aliphatic amine-cured bisphenol A type epoxy prepolymers, namely triethyltetramine (TETA), 1-(2-Chemicalbook aminoethyl)piperazine (AEP), and isophorone diamine (IPD). It is used to treat allergic contact dermatitis (ACD) caused by exposure to epoxy resin systems.
