Product Application of 1,3,5-Tri-2-propenyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6(1H,3H,5H)-trione CAS#1025-15-6
TAIC has a wide range of applications and is primarily used as a vulcanizing agent for specialty rubbers, as well as a crosslinking agent and modifier for thermoplastics, ion exchange resins, UV-curable coatings and adhesives. It also serves as an intermediate in flame retardants and photoresist materials.
In addition, TAIC is used as a crosslinking and modifying agent for polyolefins, a vulcanizing agent for specialty rubbers, a crosslinking agent for unsaturated polyester fiberglass, and an internal plasticizer for polystyrene. As a multifunctional olefin monomer containing aromatic heterocyclic rings, it plays an important role in UV-curable coatings, photosensitive resists, flame retardants, and other advanced polymer systems, making it a widely applied additive in new polymer materials.
